Since its establishment in 2016, Shenzhen Container Modular Housing Innovative Engineering Laboratory has been actively cooperating with the famous international universities, outstanding academic groups and enterprises all around the world. The research team focuses on the study of the mechanical properties, thermal insulation performance, durability and application of container houses based on the national key disciplines of civil engineering. In recent years, the laboratory has made a series of achievements, including the standard regulations, professional books, national invention patents, etc.
Shenzhen Container Modular Housing Innovative Engineering Laboratory is aimed at carrying out the researches on the container house performance, develop the new container house technology, and explore the new directions for container house promotion according to the principle of energy conservation, environment-friendly and resource utilization. Relying on the superior resources of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), Shenzhen, the laboratory pursues the innovative development model and will build a new-type research and service base with the standards of HIT.
